CEA has missioned Fluidian to develop a simulation platform for CBRN dispersions

The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) has missioned Fluidian to develop a simulation platform for CBRN dispersions based on the open-source CFD solver Code_Saturne.

CEA is a key player in research, development and innovation in four main areas:

  • defence and security,
  • low carbon energies (nuclear and renewable energies),
  • technological research for industry,
  • fundamental research in the physical sciences and life sciences.

Drawing on its widely acknowledged expertise, the CEA actively participates in collaborative projects with a large number of academic and industrial partners.

Optimization of climatic comfort in the train station of Montparnasse (Paris, FR)

A section published this month in the journal of the ASRC presents the work realized by Fluidian on behalf of AREP, SNCF subsidiary, for optimizing climatic comfort in the train station of Montparnasse (Paris, FR) for its coming renovation.

This study makes use of indoor+outdoor coupled CFD simulations.
